The European Commission's Directive on The Energy Performance of Buildings aims to promote improved energy efficiency through energy preformance certification schemes. Subsequently, local Govermment is to implement this directive in Northern Ireland. As a result, all buildings are required to have Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) before can be marketed for sale or to rent

From 30 June 2008 vendors of properties are legally required to make available a valid Energy Performance Certificate to a viewer or prospective buyer. This applies to all properties available for sale or agreed for sale with a completion date after the 30 June 2008 and there is a fine for not having a valid certificate.

This is payable directly to Blair Brady at the time of booking or when the surveyor calls with you.
