I completed my degree in Social Sciences and joined McMillan in 2002 when the business first started in Church Road. It has been exciting and very rewarding to have been part of the business as it has grown from strength to strength.
The business places a great deal of emphasis on personal development and while working, I gained a second degree in Property Studies at the Dublin Institute of Technology.
While I work in residential sales, I am also involved in our new homes section. The number of new properties coming on to the market has grown and the always attracts a lot of interest. Working with developers, advertisers and marketing to ensure the development gets to the attention of potential buyers is central to what I do. Once a development is up and running, I work closely with potential buyers, providing them with advice and information and ensuring that they are completely confident with their choices.
As with most of the McMillan team, Newtownabbey is an area I know well, having lived here all my life; however, we now cover beyond the Newtownabbey area to include Carrickfergus, Larne, Ballyclare, Ballynure, Ballyrobert on one side and heading into Belfast on the other. It has been exciting to see our reach grow as in particular the whole East Antrim area grows too.
I pride myself on my personal approach and have built many relationships with clients that have become friendships over the years, I believe our clients appreciate that, and that's the reason they continue to use us.
