No 28 is a generously proportioned with three bedrooms and three reception rooms. Although the house requires attention, it is oozing with potential and is obvious from you arrive to see this property. Separately addressed but sharing the site is 28A. This property, with some modernisation, would be ideal accommodation for an elderly relative or grown up child requiring some extra supervision but offering certain independence. Tobarcooran House was built in 1883 as part of a gentleman's estate and farm. It is best known for being the one-time home of Lilian Bland, pioneer aviator, and the first woman in the British Isles and possibly the world to design, build and fly her own plane in 1910/11. Ironically named The Mayfly her plane was developed and built at Tobarcooran. The property in sale is the last remaining part of Tobarcooran House being the Land Steward's house and the estate coach houses and stables, modernised and extended around 50 years ago.
